With everything going on in the world today, it is more important than ever to shop and support local businesses! Since summer is almost here, it's a perfect time for a fun Boutique Summer Stroll! We have paired up with 24 boutiques around the area that are joining in on the fun! Stroll through the boutiques during these next two weeks, June 1-13, while supporting local in 6 area towns for a chance to win $1,200+ in gift cards! Below is a list of each boutique, what makes them unique, and great places to eat nearby!
Carthage
Revel Boutique: Some of you may remember us as "fRepurpose Boutique." We started out 8 years ago as a consignment/artisan store and have evolved into Revel Boutique with two locations in Carthage and Pittsburg, Kansas plus website and App for online shopping. We no longer sell used items and carry over 20 National Brands only available under one roof. We are a "shop for everyone in the family" boutique because we are the only boutique to sell men's apparel and accessories as well as having baby and women's items. We also are the only store within 50 miles that sells Patagonia. We carry other outdoor brands as well, such as Kavu and Hydro Flask.
All Things Grand: This is the oldest boutique in Carthage and is located in the historic area of town. They sell unique and stylish home decor and even have an interior decorator onsite. This is a great place to register for your wedding and get all your special home items!
Finnicky Fox Boutique Collab: This is an upscale flea market that has new ownership! Inside, they have 8 online only boutique booths so it's a really neat place to check out! When you go inside, be sure to ask for the boutique booths and then look around at all the other neat things they have inside!
Neutrals Apparel: The owner is actually a former Revel girl that now has her very own boutique! The name of her store says it all as she sells great basics and neutrals that will go with everything. Neutral colors are very popular this season so you don't want to miss out on going here! If you need more neutrals and basic colors in your wardrobe, this is the place to be!
Rust & Stuff: This boutique is actually located in 2 places! She sells some items inside Twisted Oak in Webb City and she also has a store front inside the Hive salon in Carthage. She does a lot of pop up shops and shows as well as selling her items mobile. At this boutique you will find home decor, gifts, and graphic tees. This is a great boutique if you have a boho/western inspiration!
Sincerely Yours Boutique: You may remember her as a former fashion influencer for Revel! She also does makeup tutorials on YouTube! This boutique has a speak easy vibe since it's located in front of her mom's carpet store, Custom Carpets and Interiors. She sells a variety of trendy apparel for juniors and women!
Village Square Boutique: Two friends actually run this store together! They sell mature fashion for women. This is a great place to shop if you are trying to find a gift for your mom. They are not however, a boutique that sells juniors apparel. If you are a woman looking for work attire, this is a great place for you to check out! They are actually connected to Mother Road Coffee and the former owner of Mother Road Coffee owns this boutique. This is connected to a few other boutiques that are on the Summer Stroll, so this is a great place to begin. Start your morning with a great cup of coffee and breakfast at Mother Road, then walk on over to Village Square Boutique without even having to walk outside! After that, head over to Big Dog Boutique and Cherry's Emporium to knock out 3 boutiques on the stroll all next to each other!
Big Dog Boutique: Looking for a special gift or treat for your dog? This is the place! They sell unique goods for dogs of all sizes and specialize in hard to find dog collar styles and sizes. They also have dog toys and tasty treats for your special pup! She just started selling dog food!
Cherry's Emporium: Located on the Carthage square, this is a one stop shop and eat place to go! The front of Cherry's is the emporium, which is an art gallery for all the local artists. The back of the emporium is the Woodshed, which is a little restaurant that has great food! They also sell specialty liquor! On Friday nights, they have live music in the Woodshed, and on Saturday's they have breakfast. So this is a great place to end your stroll on a Friday and listen to live music, or start your stroll here on Saturday with some breakfast with your girls!
After stopping by, head over to El Charro if you are craving a great margarita and some Mexican food, or grab a sandwich and shake at the Carthage Deli on the corner of the square! If you are feeling more Italian, you don't want to miss out on Taste of Italy, located right next to Precious Moments.
Carl Junction
Vogue Boutique: This is more of a luxury boutique that sells several hard to find lines, such as Mackenzie Childs, Kendra Scott and Tyler's brand. However, they do sell some apparel and shoes, such as Birkenstocks. If you are needing a special gift for someone, you want to come here! They have have a shelf with specialty chalk paint that is neat to check out and they also carry a wide range of baby items. Vogue is for sure a place you don't want to miss!
A great place to eat in Carl Junction if you are craving Mexican, is Mi Torito! If you want some great BBQ, you want to go to Woody's!
Lamar
Tea Shirt Shoppe: Here, they carry a little bit of everything! They have women's items, men's, a baby section, and they even have a pet corner! They also sell some consignment items as well! Since Lamar is smaller and they don't have many places to shop, this is your one stop shop and we are sure you will be able to find something you love!
Vintage Chaos: The title of this boutique says it all! They sell mostly vintage home decor items. If your home style is farmhouse, then this is the place for you! They have a lot of hard to find locally crafted items and even sell face masks! So if you are in need of a face mask but can't seem to find one, look no further! If you love to search for that perfect vintage piece for your home, I'm sure you will find it here!
Start out your morning with some yummy donuts at Heavenly Daylight Donuts/The Emporium. Or, if you're finished shopping around and craving some good bbq, you don't want to miss out on Tractor's BBQ and grill!
Joplin
Blue Moon Boutique: They are a modern boutique with a vintage soul. A mother and daughter own this together and the boutique has been a staple for downtown Joplin for several years. With an urban/boho style, they have a lot of hard to find pieces, such as Tyler's brand, mixture of artisan jewelry, and accent furniture.
Blush Boutique: This is another former Repurpose/Revel girl. She owns this boutique along with her mother. They started this boutique out in Galena, KS and relocated to downtown Joplin. This boutique has a very affordable price point and sells youthful/trendy clothes, shoes, gifts and accessories.
Buxton Boutique: The owner is actually a nurse and owns this boutique which is really impressive! Located next to Blush Boutique, this is more of a women's fashion boutique and has some great items for the working woman. Also, they sell gifts, shoes and baby items. They have largest baby section in the area! If you need a good baby gift, they have a lot to choose from here!
Oasis Boutique: This is actually a salon and spa in the back, with a little boutique in the front as you walk in. This is a great place to start out your fun Mother-Daughter day! Go and get your hair or nails done together, or even a massage and then shop around! They sell a lot of different hair and skin products, as well as clothing! Their clothing is more women's apparel and they sell jewelry and Diff sunglasses as well. If you are looking for a great pair of leggings, they are the only boutique around that sells Spanx leggings!
Sophie: This boutique carries the largest shoe selection around! They sell a wide range of items from apparel, accessories, handbags, and jewelry. Located in downtown Joplin, there is so much to do and look at! This boutique is so cute and has so many adorable items, we are sure you will find something you will love!
The possibilities are endless to eat in Joplin! If you are finishing up your day downtown, there are some great local restaurants. Instant Karma is a hipster vibe with gourmet hot dogs, burgers and tons of different beer on tap. Red onion has a little bit of everything and you can't go wrong with what you decide. If you love wings, you need to go to Hacketts Hot Wings. If you are feeling pizza, Carmines Wood Fired Pizza is really good. 609 has the neatest atmosphere and amazing food!
Neosho
Cactus Creek Boutique: If you have more of a western style, you want to come here! This boutique started as online only and then extended to a store. They have big selection of plus size, and sell women's apparel. This boutique is very easy to find since it's right off the highway. They are also less than 5 min away from the other boutique in Neosho, One 24 Boutique.
One 24 Boutique: This boutique is owned by a mother and daughter. It is a western vibe with women's and plus size clothing. They specialize in cute graphic tees, purses, national brands, and they even do pop up shops. They came up with the name One 24 because the owner is a cancer survivor and their saying is "a one 24 hour period can change your whole life."
The Florist & The Merchant: This store is brand new, so you definitely want to check it out! Two friends own this together. One is a home stager and other is an interior decorator, so this boutique has a really fun, unique style. They are actually located in a house thats for sale. They sell furniture, home decor, floral arrangements, and gifts.
Webb City
Cool School Shoppe: What a great place to shop to get into your school spirit! They are your one stop for school spirit, sports, and team spirit items! Even though they are located in Webb City, they make school spirit merchandise for all the towns in the surrounding areas. They can even do custom printed tee shirts!
Mary's Market on Main: This boutique is named after the owners husband's Mother, Mary. They sell a little bit of everything and have some very unique items and a lot of fun finds in this market. They have women's, men's, home decor and accessories. You will find a lot of unique food items such as wine flavored jam, different kinds of salsa and other sauces, coffee, and unique pasta. They also sell Okie Candles which smell amazing!
Twisted Oak and Co: Located in downtown Webb City, this boutique is created by 3 women with uniquely different tastes and styles. From trendy fashion to home decor, you will find something special! They carry a large variety of goods ranging from great baby items, clothing for all shapes and sizes, shoes and accessories, unique wrapping paper and other paper goods.
Wig'N Out Boutique: This is such a neat place to shop! With a hair salon in the back with a boutique in the front, you can have the perfect girls day! A mother and daughter own this together. They sell juniors and women's clothing and shoes as well as high quality wigs, for anyone going through chemo.
